My first and last names are pronounced "Amber" and "Hilton", respectively.
Langston Hughes's command of the English language through lyrical imagery is something I find piercingly beautiful (don't just take my word for it; read After Many Springs), so he's up there for sure! A few others I admire and respect are Emily Pauline Johnson, E. E. Cummings, T. S. Eliot, William Carlos Williams, Pablo Neruda, D. H. Lawrence, W. H. Auden, and, of course, Mr. Edgar Allan Poe! 🤍
It changes regularly, but there's a special place in my heart for In A Boat by D. H. Lawrence.
