Who are your poetic inspirations?Langston Hughes's command of the English language through lyrical imagery is something I find piercingly beautiful (don't just take my word for it; read After Many Springs), so he's up there for sure! A few others I admire and respect are Emily Pauline Johnson, E. E. Cummings, T. S. Eliot, William Carlos Williams, Pablo Neruda, D. H. Lawrence, W. H. Auden, and, of course, Mr. Edgar Allan Poe! 🤍
